Adobe has agreed to take over Marketo, a provider of analytical services and marketing software, for $4.75 billion. The deal is part of Adobe's effort to put together a software package that provides advertising, analytics and e-commerce capabilities.

A panel of the US Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit has determined that Baltimore County must reimburse current and former employees who overpaid into the county's pension system because of a practice of withholding more from older workers. The panel found that the practice violates the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
